He proudly works with individuals looking to draft Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney over finances, and Healthcare Directives, such as Living Wills and Powers of Attorney over healthcare decisions enabling those chosen to implement the disabled or incompetent person’s wishes. He also regularly works with the elderly and their families to protect their assets from the crushing costs of a nursing home, and he works alongside estate planning clients with multimillion-dollar estates that require more sophisticated estate tax planning.
Mr. Krause helps people get through the difficult processes associated with the death of a loved one and then the transfer of the deceased person’s assets to those who were chosen by the loved one to receive those assets. Among his clients are hardworking members of society, retirees, entrepreneurs, veterans, athletes, and local celebrities.
Mr. Krause has clients throughout the State of Ohio and likes to meet them where they are most comfortable. This meeting location could be at the person’s or family’s home (yes, he makes house calls), business, an advisor’s office, or in his office in Medina, Ohio. Where a person is most comfortable is where the greatest amount of information can be obtained and is the key to creating a personal yet thorough plan. Attorney Krause accepts appointments during the day, evening, and some weekends.
Attorney Christopher Krause’s past and present professional associations include the American Elder Counsel and Wealth Counsel Group, The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Ohio State Bar Association, Local Bar Associations, The Planning Council of Cleveland, and the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys. Mr. Krause has written several articles on estate and elder planning. Throughout his career, he has been an invited speaker at several workshops in addition to being a guest on radio financial programs broadcast throughout Ohio.
